BlueSeries Fixes

This page contains add on fixes for BlueSeries

Fixes on this site will always relate to the current/latest BlueSeries version. The fix will be removed from this site when a new BlueSeries version is released. Each fix has a unique name which matches the BlueSeries PTF level. Example: A fix for BlueSeries 6.1 PTF123 can be labelled FIXBE0123Z.

Use the following procedure to install a fix:

• Download ZipSeries to your PC from www.zipseries.com
• Select the Fix from the list below.
• Download the file to your desktop and and follow this guide.
• Unzip the file with ZipSeries and follow the instructions on the screen. Use QSECOFR authorization.
• Sign on your the IBM i™ (AS/400)
• Type: Go BlueSeries
• Select option 53 on the menu, and type in the correct letter (as ‘Z’ in above example) in modification level. Press Enter. (Modification level is ALWAYS the last letter in the fix label).
• Select option 54 on the menu and locate the fix. A successful installation will display *COMPLETE

A fix should only be installed if the Support Team advises you to do so.
