BlueSeries Web Client

Free for all BlueSeries users

The BlueSeries Web client is built on IceBreak technology. This means that you first need to install a free IceBreak Server.

Do as follows:

1. Press on the Arrow.
2. The installation of IceBreak™ finishes by displaying the administration menu.
3. Select 'Application Store'
4. Locate: ‘BlueSeries Web Client’ and follow the instructions on the screen.

A more detailed instruction is available in the bottom of this web page.

Please note that existing IceBreak™ installations will be automatically updated to the latest IceBreak version. IceBreak will be idle in about five minutes while installing the products.

The BlueSeries Web Client is also described in chapter 3.6 in the latest BlueSeries manual.

The BlueSeries Web Client requires Adobe PDF Reader and IBM i™ (OS400) V5R2 or higher. The client is designed using IceBreak - which in this context can be installed for free. It's free and it have been tested on Internet Explorer 8/9, Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari.

BlueSeries PC Client for Windows

Download & Install

• Press on the Arrow to install the PC client to your desktop.
• Follow the instructions on the screen, until the installation is finished.
• Open BlueSeries in Programs on your PC.

Follow the instructions in the PC Client manual to start working with the PC client.

Use your OS400 log on when you are prompted for User & Password.
