  - In half an hour a delivery note is transformed into a
   thermo transfer-label with barcodes.

With InterForm it is now equally simple to design a label for a thermo transfer printer as a delivery note for a laser printer. Using the same operations as when defining the delivery note, InterForm400 is now capable of setting up and printing a label.

By using the same spoolfile InterForm400 ensures that the labels are printed at the same time and in the same order as the delivery notes. By using the number of pieces/packages stated on the delivery note, the system automatically generates the necessary number of labels.

Name and address of the receiver
is formatted and written with the desired font, size and rotation. Symbols stating weight and dangerous goods are added according to given requirements.

Barcodes and Fonts
Data from the printout is translated to the requested barcode including placement and size. Further InterForm400 makes it possible that additional data can be printed using the company's preferred TrueType font from Windows.

Logo & Symbols
The Company logo and important symbols for weight and dangerous goods can be transferred in the print process or saved in the printers' flash-memory.

Language Control
One label can be supplied with text in different languages without conflicts between special characters in the individual language. This function is unique and only supported by InterForm400.

Zebra-printers directly on the AS/400 or iSeries
InterForm supports an unlimited number of label printers of the type "Zebra", directly connected to the AS/400. No external hardware is required - the printers are connected directly to the AS/400 via Client Access or a LAN-interface

Designing labels
Using InterForm it is possible to design labels centrally on the AS/400 for all printers - with options for graphics, fonts, barcodes and symbols. Print-data can be reformatted and moved to the desired position on the label. All functions can be conditioned, meaning that the label design is dynamically changes to reflect print-data.

Stability
The merge and print function is done centrally on the system, which ensures the AS/400 systems well known stability and eliminates further investments in external print servers.

No changes in existing applications
It is not necessary to change the existing applications. A label design can be created based on any standard print-out from an existing ERP-solution, as long as the necessary data are present - if some data is occasionally missing, InterForm can find these by a SQL-look-up in the database.
