InterForm PDF & Mail
With InterForm PDF & Mail it is possible to create and save PDF-documents directly on the AS/400 and iSeries. Contrary to scanned documents, which are saved in the graphic TIFF-format, the more modern PDF-format makes it possible to search in the text within the saved documents, as the contents is saved as a combination of text and graphics.
The created PDF-documents can also be send as e-mail to the recipient, which makes it possible to distribute the traditional forms (like account statements and order confirmations) electronically - fast and inexpensive.
Integration to other applications
All functions can be integrated into existing applications using simple commands or through a number of "User Exits" from within InterForm. The PDF-documents can be supplemented with missing data through look-ups in a database or through a call to another program.

Design own PDF-documents.
Forms can be created directly in the graphic designer, which includes full support for graphic elements in TIFF and colour BMP - and text elements with individual TrueType fonts.
It is possible to create and work with attached sub-forms directly from the form. The designer can structure the way the form is build e.g. by handling the item lines in an attached sub-form, which gives a better overview.
With a drag and drop function, the data is reformatted into the final form. The well known Windows-functions like copying, moving, deleting and selecting more than one element are also supported.
All elements, which are used in the form can be conditioned, which means that the form changes dynamically depending on the contents of the print-out.
The forms design that is used for PDF-documents can also be used for creating a normal laser print on paper.
