Danske Fragtmænd introduce a new solution for handling freight

Based on increased competition and a demand for efficiency improvement Danske Fragtmænd was looking for a solution, which could give them a competitive advantage and at the same time simplify their business processes. The solution became WebFragt®, a webfreight-concept.

The solution opened new possibilities

The WebFragt® solution at Danske Fragtmænd is an complete electronic solution. This solution made it possible for Danske Fragtmænd to create their customers in a way, that enabled the customer to register relevant information needed to create the necessary number of address labels and a corresponding freight bill, all via the Internet.
Since the WebFragt® solution has been implemented, Danske Fragtmænd's customers, have found that the administration of their shipments has become much easier. Amongst other things, the customers have gained direct access to electronically order a pick-up. Further, the customers can, via a list showing their send freight bills, enter Danske Fragtmænd’s Track & Trace service, which gives all necessary information about a specific shipment.

Digital signature

All WebFragt® customers receive digitally signed electronic invoices from Danske Fragtmænd. The invoices are send automatically as an electronic document attached to an e-mail. In the invoice, it is possible to activate a ”invoice accept” by typing in a personal username and password. After the accept has been activated the system will do the necessary to have the invoice paid on the due-date. A functionality which will benefit both customers and Danske Fragtmænd. The payment part of the WebFragt® solution, which is developed in in cooperation with PBS, is called WebAccept®.

InterForm and digital signature

InterForm is the product that is used at Danske Fragtmænd to enable the solution with automatic transmission of e-mails. The invoice is attached to the e-mail as a digital signed PDF file. The digital signature is installed in InterForm and included in the PDF files, which are attached to the e-mail. The solution is build on payment via the traditional PBS identification, which is known from payment slips. InterForm extract this identification and create the active link, which is used for the automatic approval of the invoice.
