At A/S MODULEX, a producer of modern signs and information boards, they have high demands in regards to the looks and logics of any form used. A/S MODULEX, is a company within the LMX-group attached to the LEGO group, and has representation via distributors and resellers in 40 countries.
"InterForm's unique import of PC-fonts made it possible for us to fulfill an internal demand that all forms have to be printed using the font Futura Light", says Systems Manager Stig Blicher Hansen, "and with InterForm we could even control the logic within the form, by moving the information around on the form".
Today InterForm process and distributes all MODULEX's electronic forms. As an example InterForm always sends a copy of the invoice to the Finance Department and one to the Sales Department while the original is printed in the Warehouse/Shipping Department.

"To further enhance the paper flow, InterForm use a system called MAPICS to check whether the receiver want their order confirmations and invoices send via fax – if this is the case an exact copy is send via eXpress’it directly from the IBM i™".
Several foreign subsidiaries share the IBM i™ with the main company in Billund.
"InterForm proved it’s strength when we started the French subsidiary with MAPICS on our own IBM i™ – within three days all forms were adapted to reflect the French market – this without any re-programming. We were even able to test the forms on our own laser printers, as InterForm automatically chose character set depending on the language used on the form", continues Stig Blicher Hansen.
"We are actually able to print invoices directly on our subsidiaries laser printers in the individual countries – as long as they are in contact with our IBM i™", Stig Blicher Hansen finishes.
